Rolling Out the Crustless Wonder
After successful taste testing at local schools, Kretchman and Geske began production at their new company in Fergus Falls, MN. At first, the sandwiches were only served to a few schools in the Midwest. Lucky for us, the reach of these delicious sandwiches has grown a lot since then!
1999
Deal, Sealed
After acquiring the brand in 1998, The J.M. Smucker Co. updated the trademarked name to Uncrustables and secured a patent for a “sealed crustless sandwich.”

Hello, Honey
We created some extra buzz with the launch of our Peanut Butter & Honey Spread on Wheat Bread variety.

Reduced Sugar, Still Sweet
